REED for SEED Scholarships Help Students "Kick Off" the School Year
A leading partner and supporter of SEED School of Maryland, Ed Reed and the Ed Reed Foundation provide scholarship awards to graduating SEED students each year. Recipients are selected based on the student’s participation as a team member or manager of a SEED sports team, maintaining a high GPA and enrollment in a “right-fit” college or university. Each student selected receives a $1,000 college scholarship.
“The Reed for SEED Scholarships were created to help pave the pathway to possibilities for students. We are proud to provide this direct support to these students for the commitment and initiative they have demonstrated and are happy to have a way to show our encouragement and assist them with their next steps,” said Courtney Auburn of the Ed Reed Foundation.
SEED MD Seniors who graduated in May and received the awards are:
Nazir Fitch, Montgomery County; Trinity Washington
