Internship Program
For 10-12 weeks, seniors are involved in nine-hour internships, while simultaneously strengthening professional mannerisms, communication, attire and social skills. During the course of their internship, students also receive education about financial literacy, building social capital, professional communication and more in a semester-long “College and Career Readiness” class.
In an effort to create a realistic outlook on the “real world,” students are paid a bi-weekly evaluation based stipend and are encouraged to handle discussed classroom situations through real-life application. Throughout our program, interns have had the opportunity to work with Johns Hopkins Hospital, Marks Thomas Architects, Urban Teachers, Global Air Media, and more.
