SEED makes a
measurable IMPACT
ON THE LIVES OF MARYLAND STUDENTS
Since our doors opened in 2008, we proudly have offered the opportunity for 400+ students per year to reach their full potential.
A SEED education is designed to support every students’ journey through high school and college. 91% of students who graduate from SEED enroll in college.
Our students enroll in college at 3.5x the rate of their peers outside of SEED.
80% of SEED students are first-generation college bound.

Alumni Spotlight:
Stephanie Keyaka
Stephanie recently received an MA degree in International Affairs at Penn State University. Her goal is to become skilled in new business and proposal development and to lead a business development team at an international development organization—allowing her to be financially in a position to start a family, and better plan for her future!
Because of the generous support of donors, we are able to provide:
Free Tuition
SEED’s widespread support comes from individual, community, business, philanthropic, and educational partners who believe in our mission and are committed to building and sustaining our program.
24 Hour Support
With one-on-one attention, 24/5 boarding, rigorous academics, small class sizes, social-emotional learning curriculum, with a focus on wellness, SEED creates a pathway of support and success for students.
Counseling Through College
Our students’ journeys are not finished on high school graduation day, so neither are we. From their senior year through their college graduation, every SEED graduate has a staff member dedicated to guide their journey.
